BBQ Ground Turkey Taco Salad

A healthy bowl with a kick from Popote ta vie! This Tex-Mex salad with ground turkey is anything but boring: topped with fresh vegetables, creamy avocado, crunchy chips, and enhanced with FitCook Foodz's The Legendary BBQ sauce, it combines freshness and indulgence in every bite. Perfect for a quick, balanced, and flavorful meal!

Ingredients

  • 300g ground turkey
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • ¼ cup the Legendary FitCook Foodz BBQ sauce
  • 2 romaine lettuce hearts, roughly chopped
  • ½ cup frozen corn
  • ½ cup black beans
  • 1 avocado, cut into small cubes
  • 20 crushed corn chips
  • A few finely chopped cilantro leaves
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 8 small cherry tomatoes, quartered

 

Steps

1. Place the romaine lettuce, corn, black beans, tomatoes, avocado, and corn chips in serving bowls. Set aside.

2. In a bowl, mix the Greek yogurt and lime juice. Place the mixture in a condiment bottle (optional). Set aside.

3. In a skillet with a drizzle of oil, cook the ground turkey with the red onion. When cooked through, remove from heat and add the Legendary by FitCook Foodz. Mix.

4. Place the turkey on top of the prepared salad. Add the yogurt sauce on top.

5. Garnish with cilantro.
